Scarab Earrings with Diamonds and Pink Tourmaline

A pair of scarab wing earrings in fancy ‘Angel wings’ design is embellished with flaming pink tourmalines and rose-cut white diamonds, studded on 9K gold, while the backing is done in black rhodium plated sterling silver. The pins and the back are in 9K gold. 

Scarabs are found across ancient cultures and revered by the Egyptians, it symbolised rebirth and renewal. Its naturally iridescent wings—formed without pigment—shift in luminous hues and endure for generations, reflecting nature’s quiet brilliance and timeless transformation. Scarab wings display natural colours that cannot be dyed or replicated. Green symbolises renewal, blue is for protection, while dark stands for strength in mystery, and gold being for eternity. Together, they reflect nature’s quiet intelligence, carrying meanings shaped by time, belief, and transformation. At LAdV, scarab jewellery is shaped by patience and restraint. Wings are ethically collected after their natural life cycle, then hand-sorted, prepared, and set one by one—each wing requiring 12–15 minutes of focused handwork. Their iridescence is never altered, only protected, and every piece takes months to complete, guided by nature’s pace and disciplined craftsmanship. 

This piece took 1.5 months to finish with over 6 craftsmen and designers involved at various stages.
